MORA Update 8-12-2020

Happy Rainy Wednesday….

I hope you all took a minute to vote in the primaries yesterday. Now more than ever, we ALL need to have our voices heard!

Speaking of….

Employee Pulse Survey Results: Thank you for making the time!

I am so pleased to share the PDF below highlighting the results of our recent Employee Pulse Survey. (Please print and share in Communication Books.) Taking into consideration how busy and stretched we are, the survey was short and sweet and over 226 people participated. That’s 46% of all current employees and that’s really great engagement!

And…we want to keep the conversation going! We need everyone to join in. We’ve tasked all Directors to choose 2 areas out of this survey feedback to work on – and share input and progress again in a few months’ time. I am committed to celebrating our wins and working on making things better going forward and your input is crucial.

MORA Pulse Survey Share August 2020

Minnesota, COVID-19 and the future:

Later today we will listen to Governor Walz’ decision to extend the Peacetime Emergency and potentially share any new guidance on getting through the next phases of COVID-19. In addition to our vigilant protocols, we do realize everyone’s need to restore and recharge for the coming seasons. We are all fatigued, you more than anyone. I hope that you all have plans to get some time to yourself to rest, reconnect with loved ones and rejuvenate.

Continue to be safe and….enjoy this summer

The summer of 2020 will go down in history. Not only for the things we couldn’t do; hug, travel, concerts, parades, fireworks…but, hopefully, for all the creative ways we found to connect.  While, like many of you, I wasn’t able to see my family for our traditional summer vacation, I am SO grateful for the community we are building in our neighborhood.  We are getting to know our neighbors in ways we never dreamed; the neighbor kids are over at our house on a daily basis to walk our puppy, we’ve been supporting each other with food/treats when someone falls ill, we are checking in on each other’s physical and mental health with more walks and visits to the backyard swing set than could have imagined a year ago! I also see it everyday in our homes with Zoom activities and more outdoors time.  I hope you are finding the same connected community where you live and breathe.  You deserve it.

Thanks again for ALL you do,

You matter and I appreciate you.
