COVID-19 Daily Email Update 3/26/2020

Team,

I’m so relieved that we are finally a bit ahead on something!

“Stay Home Minnesota” begins Friday, March 27 – April 10. Good news: We are already doing it. The actions we’ve taken over the last several weeks fit within Governor Walz’ directives.

More great news: More people staying home will mean slowing the spread of COVID-19. Read more Minnesota Department of Health: mn.gov/governor/covid-19/

What does “all in this together” actually mean?

Around the country our work together is changing. Our job descriptions are changing. CEOs are delivering office supplies and crafting facemasks. Doctors are mopping floors and disinfecting doorknobs. And here within MORA, we are doing the same – changing with flexibility and creative ideas to see us through this trying time.

And we will support every employee to do the same. If you are concerned about being able to continue working through the COVID-10 crisis, please reach out to your supervisor and to mailto:hr@mtolivet-mora.org  We have lots of work to do around here (!) and are dedicated to making sure employees can continue working feeling valuable, healthy and safe.

My ask of you …please share the below with friends, family, guardians and groups who want to support MORA:

Now Hiring:  Caregiving through COVID-19.

We need Arts & Crafts Supplies! Even during “Stay Home Minnesota” delivery of therapeutic goods goes on and we need to stay inspired. Donate items that can be used one time (construction paper, stickers…) or items that can be cleaned (markers, glue…).  Please no playdough or clay at this time.  Drop-off all donations at Victoria Campus — 7200 Rolling Acres Road, 55331 — between 8am-3pm weekdays so we can share between all homes. Thank you!

And, don’t forget our Friday check in …. I was so excited that people asked questions yesterday!  Please bring more tomorrow at ….

Friday, March 27 at 10am

Eternally grateful for each of you,

T.
