Effective 10pm 2/8/2020, MORA’s starting wage for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Adult Day Services (ADS), and Summer Camp Positions is $14/hour. Overnight sleep DSPs start at $11/hour and Junior DSPs start at $12.75/hour. Most of our tenured DSPs and ADS staff received a $1/hour increase. This wage increase is possible because of increased revenue in our Case Management services, Metro Crisis Coordination services, and an increase in reimbursed rates from legislation passed in July of 2019.
Adult Day Services
For 50+ years, Mount Olivet Rolling Acres has been a leader in creating innovative programs and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Adult Day Services is one of those programs. MORA Adult Day Services is a positive alternative to vocational jobs, options for retirement, and other day programs currently available. Our Adult Day Services provides individualized programs that can meet a variety of needs and allow participants to enjoy a fun, safe, stimulating, and social atmosphere, while participating in recreation and leisure activities.
MORA Adult Day Services is an affordable option Monday through Friday; a fraction of the cost of in-home care or other facilities. Individuals enrolled in our Adult Day Services program are provided nutritious meals and snacks each day, and transportation to and from our facility may be available on request.
Caregivers can be confident that their loved ones are receiving the best of care from well-qualified staff. Our experienced staff will help ensure programming to meet the individual’s physical, social, and emotional needs.
This program is perfect for someone who is reaching retirement age, but still wants to be involved in social and leisure activities, or for individuals looking for a different option than what traditional vocational day programs offer.
